EEK STUDIO is an interdisciplinary creative studio specializing in architecture and interiors founded by Los angeles-based DESIGNER AND ARTIST, Erin Kasimow.

 

A Los Angeles native, Erin's design work focuses on creating comfortable and engaging spaces that explore the aesthetics and styles of Los Angeles’ diverse and vibrant personality.  

She has an undergraduate degree in studio art from Wesleyan University where she studied photography, graphic design and architecture, and received her Master's in Architecture from Harvard's Graduate School of Design. 

Prior to founding EEK STUDIO, Erin worked in multiple LA design offices including Michael Maltzan Architecture, Bestor Architecture, AECOM, and Skidmore, Owings, and Merril. These diverse professional experiences have afforded her the opportunity to work on many commercial and residential projects at varying scales, including the new Los Angeles Federal Courthouse, creative workspace for DirecTV and GOOD inc., and various retail, restaurant and exhibition projects. Her design work and photography have been published in PaperMetropolis Magazine, and N+1.

Erin currently teaches at the USC School of Architecture and has been a guest critic at UCLA, SCI-ARC, and Harvard GSD.
